Eva is a former school teacher and principal of Isummasaqvik School, Quaqtaq until her retirement in 2006. Currently, she sits on the Board of Governors of Nunavik. Since 2008, Eva has been involved in emotional and mental health counseling to Inuit throughout Nunavik with Aaqitauvik Healing Centre. Eva has a passion to see individuals free from all kinds of abuse, addictions, trauma, and anger and believes that through counseling and healing sessions, relationships can be restored and lives can begin on the healing journey.
Wendy joined the Aaqitauvik Team in September 2017 and has a real heart to see people set free from the bondages that hold them back from living a life that is emotionally and mentally healthy and fulfilling. Wendy served as Registrar/Administrator of two Bible schools for over 10 years, where she was involved with teaching and in the freedom ministry as well. She recently completed the Facilitator Training with Aaqitauvik Healing Centre in March 2019.
We welcome Gela Naqica as Aaqitauvik Healing Centre’s newest Board Member. Gela was trained at the International Healing, Deliverance & Discipleship School through Elell Canada Ministries under Singing Waters Ministries in Orangeville, ON, where she experienced the healing of abuse, shock, trauma, and loss and she now offers that hope to others. She has also received training through The International Healing the Land Ministries. Gela is married and has five adult children, nine grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Gela and her husband have been involved in working in the healing area in many countries, with many ethnicities, and especially enjoy working within Arctic Communities and First Nations Communities across Canada. Gela has worked with Aaqitauvik for many years as a facilitator in our workshops, and we look forward to many more years with her on the Aaqitauvik Team.
Currently CEO of the Tuvaaluk Landholding Corporation and former Mayor of Quaqtaq, Robert, along with his wife Eva, has a passion to see individuals come into freedom from the various wounds and pains that life can bring to an individual. He also wants to see people healed from the pain of trauma and free from anger issues. He recently completed the Facilitator Training with Aaqitauvik Healing Centre in March 2019.
Aaqitauvik would like to welcome Elisapie Annatok as our newest Board Member. Elisapie started as a Teacher at Isummasaqvik School and now is a Teacher Training Counsellor for the Inuit teacher’s sector. Elisapie is a mother of three children as well as a grandson.
Elisapie has taken part in the Aaqitauvik Healing programs and has received the help and healing needed to know she has a purpose, and that is to live freely. Elisapie wants other Inuit to experience the same freedom she has found with Aaqitauvik.

Annie is presently a teacher and a former school commissioner of Kangiqsujuaq, Quebec. Annie has training in healing and counselling since 2007. Her passion is to see individuals healed of their hurts and wounds from past traumas, abuse, and neglect.
Annie’s years of experience in dealing with the many problems and social issues her people have faced have been instrumental in adding to her passion to see them get well socially and emotionally.
Elizabeth brings over 10 years' experience working with Youth Houses, including her work as the former Regional President for youth. These experiences have given her a deeper passion to serve in the area of development and wholeness.
Elizabeth also attended Singing Waters Ministries School in 2007 for training in Healing Workshops.
